Fun on the slopes
The Schlossalm-Angertal-Stubnerkogel and Dorfgastein ski areas are the particularly family-friendly ski areas in the Gastein Valley and are therefore perfect for a winter holiday with the family! In these two ski areas young and old skiers can look forward to approx. 56 km of blue slopes.
An ultimate winter experience awaits your little ones
not only on the slopes.
For example, the skating rink is in the immediate vicinity of the hotel and offers ice skating fun with a children's disco.
Or how about whizzing down the mountain on a toboggan? Fun for parents and children.
Gasti Snow Park
To make it even easier and faster to learn, the practice area at the Angertal Ski Centre has been optimally equipped for this purpose. The Gasti Snow Park has been created.
Ski & Board Moments of Happiness
Skiing & Snowboarding
Skiers, whether beginners or advanced, can collect numerous kilometres of pistes on varied runs in the Gastein ski area in Salzburger Land.
Here is an overview of the slopes on offer in the Schlossalm-Angertal-Stubnerkogel, Sportgastein, Graukogel and Dorfgastein-Großarl ski areas.
If you want to taste real freedom you have to go to the "very top". Where white peaks, untracked slopes and the deep blue sky really make you want to go. As we all know freeriding stands for the feeling of freedom. Rocks and trees whistle past to the left and right. The powder snow dusts the still unridden route. Jumps are also fully permitted
Explore the diversity of the Gastein Valley on a ski tour in winter. From Bad Gastein you can enjoy varied ski tours up to the Graukogel or the Stubnerkogel. Another and very popular starting point for a ski discovery tour of the Gastein mountains is Dorfgastein. Here you go on a ski tour to the Fulseck.
Your winter holiday could hardly be more individual!
Look forward to a floodlit park cross-country ski trail just a 2-minute walk away.
A large cross-country skiing network of over 400 km well-prepared trails awaits you in the Gastein Valley.
The snow crunches under your feet and the sunlight lights the white splendour of the Gastein mountains up. Whether beginner or advanced, that's the perfect day trip for everyone.
Horse-drawn sleigh rides
Pure romance - warmly wrapped in blankets, the tinkling of horse bells along the winter hiking trail with the lights through the tree tops - this is what enchants a horse-drawn sleigh ride in our valley.
